Left behind by the Queen
I’ve been away from the computer for a few days as we traveled to see some of the grandchildren.
While we were making preparations to go, the cat began to get nervous and anxious as she was suspicious that SOMETHING WAS IN THE WORKS here at the house.
From her THRONE on the back of the couch in the den, she quietly observed the things that were taking place.

Here is proof that she did not want to be left behind.

Musicman came back to find that she had quickly snuggled into one of the suitcases and had gotten quite comfortable.
However, no matter how clever she was, or how MUCH she wanted to be a part of the trip, it simply would NOT work out since we were going to the house that has 5 children, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 1 fish. So Sorry, Kitty KAT --You cannot go with us this time.
She did fine and was glad to see us when we got home, sometimes she will be mad at us for a few days and pout when we return, but I think she took advantage of the recliner being empty for a while. There is no doubt about it, she is one spoiled cat, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
She likes it here. She even has her own stationery and signature for important documents like this one. She was happy once I told her she would be the feature story for the 2 sisters this week, so she signed off with

Be careful! The first picture is proof that some "one" is vying for your place as "Queen."
ReplyDeleteI hope she took proper care of your common realm while you were gone. We enjoyed our visit with you--glad you enjoyed biscuits and bread. Come again; I'll make more.
