COME AND GONE- by Queen
As with life in general, things come and go and time moves on. The celebration for the 4th is now a thing of the past, yes, it is HISTORY for the year 2010.
Time was spent in the kitchen and outside on the grill with preparations for traditional servings of the chicken, sausage etc.
And a casserole too!! Food was special, why? I do not know, just the holidays I suppose
with the 4th hat turned into the centerpiece decorating the table, the cat was wondering what all the fuss was about.
She is not fond of a lot of noise---OR ACTIVITY, and the firecrackers that lighted up the sky did not seem to interest her at all, in fact, she left her chosen spot on the bed, to make a hasty exit from the room and retreat UNDER another bed!!! I think she had HAD enough celebration for the day.
Sorry I am so late posting about the 4th but was busy with condolences for 2 families. One in our church and one that lives in the capital city. It is a privilege to be able to play music that brings comfort to the grieving famlies.
Hope that all of you out in BLOG LAND had a great fourth of July. We live in a wonderful land and we are all blessed to enjoy our freedoms. We so easily say, GOD BLESS AMERICA- but that is truly our prayer for this nation.
